Tommy Franks admits faking own death
Capital Hill, Washington D.C. - Tommy Franks yesterday admitted
he had once faked his own death to get out of gym class in
the 9th grade. During his visit to the Whitehouse Franks told
reporters he has produced fake funeral invitations and forged
phone calls to allow him to escape the timed run scheduled
for 4th period.
"I was amazed by the affectionate receptions of the
news of my death by some of my friends," Franks told
the Washington Post. "It was the success of this operation
which really got me into the idea of joining the military."
Although fears grow over a similar tactic being used by Saddam
Housain to make peace keeping forces withdraw, Franks said
that this does not worry him. "I know all the tricks,"
he announced in an interview with BBC reported Jeremy Paxman.
"We shall be hunting for him long after he is dead."
