Chris's Column

What do you do when you have some space on the back page to fill? Of course the answer is to put some kind of opinion slash observation column on there written by the editor. And so in issue 25, Chris's Column was born.

Issue 41: Balancing the mag's content

I finally began editing some of this magazine together on my laptop. The problem is that this version of PowerPoint is XP and the desktop’s is only 2000 so compatibility maybe an issue so I will soon find out.

Whether this issue will be finished by the deadline is looking more unlikely with the deadline being tomorrow and everything.

The problem is that there are certain regulars which need to be done which are hard to write. Which is why there are plenty of features. But then I have to find something to fill them with.

So the solution is to find some kind of balance between them. Too many regulars and if I get bored of one I’m stuck with it. Too many features and I may run out of ideas to fill the pages with.

Recently there have been no end of features to put in the magazine. In the olden days we only had a few features but now the magazine has expanded a bit and there are more although all filled as there is more content with the amount of websites.

The real question is why am I righting a column? Well I guess its just really hard to have a whole opinion every single month.
